🌍 Funk the Planet Radio is an independent online station rooted in Santa Barbara, California, bringing a deep, eclectic mix of funk and groove music to listeners online. Broadcasting from California’s Central Coast, the station spans James Brown to today’s modern masters, with funk, classic soul, jazz-funk, neo-soul, New Jack Swing, Minneapolis sound, and more. If it’s funky, it belongs in the universe of Funk the Planet.

The ever-evolving music library is curated in Santa Barbara by veteran funk and soul radio DJ Vince Leo, whose radio journey began at KCSB-FM in Isla Vista. From his Santa Barbara studio, Leo blends the latest funky releases with timeless classics to create a station with local roots and a sharp curatorial point of view.
